Quarashi’s fantastic farewell concert
:: If there had been a roof on Herjólfsdalur valley, it would have blown off
:: One of Þjóðhátíð’s best shows since its debut.
Rap group Quarashi performed at their farewell concert during Þjóðhátíð 2014. The concert was in one word, amazing with all members of the band performing. Present on the stage were Sölvi Blöndal, Hössi Ólafsson, Steinar Orri Fjeldsted, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Egill Ólafur Thorarensen, better known as Tiny and they absolutely blew the crowd away.
When interviewed by Eyjafréttir, Sölvi said that there was a 99,9% chance that the concert yesterday would be the last for Quarashi. Thousands of festival goers at Þjóðhátíð showed up for the concert and if there had been a roof on Herjólfsdalur valley, it would probably have been blown off when the band played their last song, their most popular track, Stick’em up. But seeing is believing so you can view the video attached below as well as pictures from Quarashi’s last concert.
HD quality is highly recommended.
