Oh dear! Look at the time! Seems we’ve let the ball drop for a little bit here. Forgive us dear people. Our lives seem to have gotten in the way of our reporting but now we have put our lives on their respective shelves so we may QUARASHI… or HALLELUWAH, as it were.




So… we are very happy to announce in latest news that the video to Sölvi and Tiny’s song K2R will be premiered in Sweden at Barbro in Stockholm tomorrow night, September 28th and then again in Iceland at the Halleluwah hot-spot, Prikið, on October 4th.

Halleluwah, Sölvi and Tiny’s new music project, will perform live on August 18th during an annual Reykjavík festival named “Culture Night” between the hours of 5pm and 7pm* (GMT).


The concert, named Undiraldan, will also feature artists such as Captain Fufanu, Oyama, Dream Central Station, Boogie Trouble og Mr. Silla and will it take place outside the newly built concert and conference building “Harpa”.


The location which is Reykjavik’s east harbor, is the same location where Quarashi filmed their music video for Baseline 11 years ago, aboard one of the Icelandic Coast Guard’s main vessel.


On Culture Night, the downtown of Reykjavík comes alive with music, performances and entertainment for all ages.
First held in 1996, Culture night has become one of Iceland’s biggest events with as many as 100.000 people gathering in one place.

Sölvi and Tiny will appear on Icelandic radio show “Harmageddon” today at 4pm (GMT) where they will premiere their new song collaboration, K2R.

Hello yet again our dear friends and followers of Quarashi activity.


K2R is the name of Sölvi and Tiny‘s forthcoming second single to be released off of the upcoming Halleluwah EP.


While it’s still being finished we here at the Quarashi vibe have just had the amazing honor of having a little pre-listen to it.


The song sports yet another fresh track laid out by Sölvi with Tiny rapping over it. The lyrics are cheeky and fun, very much in the true spirit of Tiny and as always they flow with ease, being both clever and smooth.
The beat is that of imminent danger laden with outer-space noisage and beautiful blinginess on top. What more could anyone ask for?!


Stay tuned because we promise once this single drops it will work its magic on you and you will not be able to hum anything else to yourself for the remainder of the summer!

Wow! It‘s a year to the day since the improbable happened: Quarashi got back together for a comeback concert at Besta Útihátíðin 2011 and we want to take this opportunity to look back at the amazing time we had and reminisce with all of you.


We hope you enjoyed what little we could do for those of you who weren’t able to attend and for those of you who were there, at that amazing place and time, we just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for contributing to the insane energy and possibly the craziest crowd that ever rocked a concert. Thanks for making it even more awesome!


To the former members of Quarashi, we are forever grateful. Thank you for the music and the concert of our lives! We had such an amazing time and we‘re so happy we got to experience Quarashi live!

The unveiling of the video to 1000 Eyes is nearing! The video was meant to be released this last Friday but due to some final touches being needed the release has been pushed back for a while, never the less, it seems as if we’ll get to feast our eyes on the fantastic awesomeness soon enough.
